What is the sound of Upper Palatinate?

There are plenty of pictures of Upper Palatinate, but „What is the sound of Upper Palatinate?“ is Czech-German multimedial exhibition. Ten sound boxes has ten topics, the sounds are illustrating culture and history of a region.
The exhibition started as a project of 35 students of cultural sciences at the University of Regensburg and two facilities of Upper Palatinate region and the Department of Regional Cooperation, Culture and Education and the Fachakademie in Cham. It is the first attempt how to show the region Upper Palatinate through sounds. The exhibition with multimedia elements focuses on these topics: language, Czech-Bavaria border areas, food, jobs, spare time, housing and families, customs, music and nature.
