SERIE ON LECTURES WITH Faculty of Philosophy and Arts in Plzeň I Doc. Marie Fenclová, CSc. – Early learning to languages: yes or no?
There has been prevailing opinion in the Czech society since 90´s, that sooner children start to learn foreign language, better the results are. But is it really like this? The specialists in didactics of language learning, teachers and creators of language learning policy not only in the Czech Republic are looking for the answer. Parents are mostly lacking the information which they need to decide whether they should allow children to get in touch with foreign language before the mandatory start at the third class of the primary school.
