Japanese culture belongs to one of most important aspects, which has been fascinating western society till the present days. People all over the world read Murakami´s novels, watch anime and samurais´ stories, are interested in bonsai trees or ikebanu. Japanese comic books manga, pc games or pokemon´s figures are very popular too. Our imaginery of Japan involves technological and hurried society, shikanzen trains and sushi and also beautiful nature and knowledge about japanese history. All these aspects are creating the picture and Japan remains a mystery country to a lot of Europeans. This lecture will focus on showing the japanese culture to the public. The facts about nowadays Japan will be represent, including society, religion, a way of thinking.
