The visual artist Simon Menner (born 1978 in Emmendingen) shows his project of images from the archives of STASI. We enter the bizarre, scary and sometimes bitter funny world of secret intelligence in East Germany thanks to these photographs. Menner is showing us real secret agents with arficial hair and moustaches, who are training to fight, celebrating and making photos of themselves. He is also showing us their victims-people out in the streets, at the post boxes and their flats before and during house searches.
