exhibition opening – Fate of writers imprisoned by the communism regime in 1952 during the process with so called Green International

The exhibition aims to remember forgotten fates of Czechoslovakian writers and poets Imprisoned in 1952 in totally fictitius and political process with so called Green International conducting to long term custodial sentences. The communism regime took revenge significantly to one of the elite group of nation and showed the public completely invented process accompained by a massive medial and propaganda campaign. It also pointed out deprivation of intellectual elites, those who did not want to build socialism to the detriment of working class. It took 64 years from the moment when the Prague and Brno Court deprived for a long time extraordinary human fates and caused suffering for the number of families and relatives.
The exhibition will remember this human fates and point out to not to forget. At the conference will even participate some of family members of injailed writers. The exhibition and conference take place within the Year of František Machník.
